Fishing!!!

It started out early in the morning about 4-4.30 am yesterday, i was awaken from my deep slumber by my sleep deprived sister saying we were late. Okie i stared into space for a minute to set my brain in gear. Nyway we met up with our uncle then stopped by a 711 to buy snacks, everyone in our car got out except me i was as usual last out and to my unfortunate self got a brain jolting wake up call as my younger sister climbed out she didn't see me goin to her side to get out the same door and she being her no nonsense self slammed the door as my head was sticking out then Wham! bullseye! my cranium was um... bruised severely as my ego felt... so after the head bashing part my sister opened the door after hearing an extra thud when she shut the car door seeing my expression and my hand on my head she said (laughing)Im SORRY!!!
No i didn't kill her ( maybe because it was a Sunday ) i wasn't all that mad either (a mystery we'll never know...) outside we met a churchmate beside 711 i said alay lakad? she said yup...you too?(asking my sister) sister: nope we goin fishing we chatted a bit more but she had to go. Our uncle didn't get to buy anything on Wendy's(beside 711) so we drove a bit and ended on jolibee(fast food ng masa...you can find it almost everywhere...sorry for the plugging this was not a paid advertisment) we had breakfast then continued on to the fishing place. When we got there it was a simple and civilized place with houses, cars, ticycles and electricity. I know because while fishing our background music was itsumo(is the title of the song right? by dice?)
So there we were fishing!!! Yay finally grander musashi is no longer an anime to envy!!! (I have the right to be corny...I have a concussion so sue me!) Fishing is a test of patience... dang! it so hard to catch a tilapia!!! quite easy to catch a milkfish(bangus)
A moment for learning... bangus swim on the upper part of the water while tilapia swim the deeper depth...so therefore it's a challenge to catch tilapia than bangus. Moment over... Argh! it was so frustrating i only caught 2 bangus!!! and a default tilapia, goes to show that i need more practice and more patience!!! It was fun all in all although my skin color would never be the same again (result of hyper sa pagfishing na hindi ngsunblock and overexposure to the sun) i hope nxt time i can bring my friends along you know who you are...so they themselves can experience the frunstrations of fishing. Grbe nice timing lunch na goin to eat fried tilapia!!! Whahahahaha

Oct.18: Rockwell, Power Plant Mall

As Fi and Jason have been raving on and on about that day... i intend to rave more :)
The wall climbing was very challenging considering my weight and then some, but having done it before with bea was an advantage. I knew what to do, like how to belay (manage the rope that is rigged to the harness of the climber so that if ever he/she slipped they wouldn't fall and break something) and the best of all i knew what to expect afterwards. (Oh the pain!)
We also did rebound which is a big trampoline with ropes and a harness attached to it, a machine where the rope is connected pulls and slackens the cord when needed for extra air time for you to be able to do front and back flips. It jst gives me an adrenaline rush thinking about it, first few minutes you feel like your heart is at your throat then sensation tickles in your tummy(the reason why bea kept on touching her stomach and laughing)...after those first few minutes your body adapts then you can start the flips... eventhough the whole thing jst lasts for 5 minutes, for me its worth every second jst for the rush.
And so the end justifies the means (did i quote this right???) we all had a great time (i think?) i know i did! and are all suffering the pains of strained muscles result of no stretching or warm up exercise whatsoever(hahaha-ouch). It will take us a few days to recuperate but till then experiencing muscle soreness and feeling weak is a normal sign of people who don't have exercise in their daily list of things to do. (P.s. for the pipol mentioned in this post dnt be all too comfy yet i have something being planned in the not so near future...) ˜Fin

The Right Way

I pray and pray but to no avail,
I then realized that I'm bound to fail.
Praying without studying is not the way,
If you want to pass the grueling day.
You must study then pray, that's the right way.
And so now I pray, that I'll be disciplined that way.

Thought of the day...

"The mind, like any other muscle, must be regularly exercised... otherwise, it withers into decay."
